The Red kidney beans(राजमा) are thought to have  begin in Peru. They're part of a larger group called “common beans,” This beans were cultivated as early as 8,000 

years ago. Common beans were spread by migrating tribes and served as an important and main protein source in the diets of the Indians of the Americas.

very strong and good in taste and are used in both hot and cold recipes. It is mostly commonly in Mexican and Indian cuisine to make curries.

In India kidney beans(राजमा) are also known as Rajma, known by the dish of the same name (Rajma Chawal, kashmiri rajma chawal etc..). Dried beans need to be soaked 

and cooked with care as the outer skin contains certain toxins which are harmful for health. The toxins are removed by boiling the beans in water.

The Canned beans are just needed to be rinsed and reheated before cooking because they are available in the markets are already boiled.
